This internship is one of four unique opportunities that will be presented during the Amgen Internship Open Day. The student will support a strategic project: developing a quantitative decision-support model that evaluates distribution scenarios and supports the selection of the optimal FDP (Forward Distribution Point) model for the Nordics and Balkan regions. This assignment provides hands-on experience with real-world network modeling in a multinational environment.
Job Responsibility:
Building a quantitative model to compare consignment vs. non‑consignment FDP setups
Conducting scenario analyses to assess regional distribution impacts
Evaluating cost, service level, and logistics implications
Supporting data-driven strategic recommendations
Contributing to a multi-site optimization initiative within a global biopharmaceutical supply chain
Requirements:
Be a pre-final or final-year Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Supply Chain, Data Science, or related fields
Be proficient in English (verbal and written)
Have strong analytical and numerical skills
Be accurate, organized, responsible, and able to work independently
