Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a M/F: F&DT experimented Stress Engineer on Long Range - Post Delivery & Maintenance to join our 1AFSK2 team based in Toulouse, France. You will join the Nose & Center Fuselage (NCF) engineering teams and be part of an integrated team having the global view on aircraft structure design and certifications. Within our team, you will have the opportunity to work on, amongst other things: Certification Activities, Airworthiness, Maintenance, Methods & Tools improvements and In Service Support. More particularly, you will be part of a multi-program team 1AFSK2, leading activities based on Post Delivery & Maintenance. You will be a Fatigue & Damage Tolerance engineer on Post Delivery / Maintenance & Continuous Airworthiness on LR activites.

Job Responsibility:

  • Take part of the F&DT activities/milestone
  • Validate Stress Dossier (using your DOS delegation) or support signature (including Airbus Operations, Airbus Atlantic, RSP…)
  • Performed analysis on all Certification / Maintenance & Continuous Airworthiness perimeters (including Airbus Operations, Airbus Atlantic, RSP…)
  • Support Technical Leader on Quality & Performance for the F&DT LR deliverables
  • Ensure the follow-up of the LR activities by being linked to specialist/senior/TL/analysis community (other TL…) on the field
  • Participate to relevant technical & Airworthiness reviews (ARM with EASA, meetings with LSA…)
  • Support relevant cross functional working and integration
  • Evaluate risks and mitigate and/or escalation when required
  • Support deployment of best practice and lessons learnt captured
  • Report and escalate when necessary, technical progress with TL / DOT leader
  • Organize & ensure the follow-up of Airbus Atlantic, Subcontracting & Airbus India on specific topics

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in the specific skill Fatigue & Damage Tolerance on LR or others Airbus programs (> 7 years)
  • Experience with complex situations and decisions
  • Ability to manage activities including Risks & Opportunities, adapt communication to different levels and perform stakeholder management
  • Team player with ambition for mentoring and knowledge sharing
  • Fluent in French
  • Advanced in English
