Job Description:

LaplandUK is an immersive, theatrical experience that brings to life a child’s fleeting belief in Father Christmas. With a world-class creative team, stunning set designs, and a strong narrative-driven performance, LaplandUK delivers a magical and unforgettable experience for families each Christmas season.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greeting families in a warm and welcoming manner
  • Listening to children's Christmas wishes and engaging with them meaningfully
  • Posing for photos with families to capture cherished memories
  • Handing out gifts, ensuring that every child feels special
  • Maintaining the authenticity and magic of Father Christmas in every interaction
  • Strictly following designated timings for each family visit
  • Working with Wardrobe and WHAM teams to uphold costume and wig standards
  • Staying in character at all times
  • Attending wardrobe fittings
  • Respecting and adhering to show timing, resetting props, and triggering cues as required
  • Delivering multiple performances per day

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK
  • Role offer & contract is conditional on receiving a clean basic DBS
  • Lapland Manchester performers must be prepared to travel or relocate to Macclesfield or the surrounding area

  • You will be required to submit your measurements at auditions for approval by the costume team
