Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and detail - oriented Textile Designer to join our design team. They should have a strong understanding of surface design, print development, and fabric construction, with a passion for blending tradition with contemporary aesthetics. You will play a key role in translating brand narratives into distinctive textile artworks that celebrate craftsmanship and culture.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conceptualize and develop original textile designs, including prints, embroideries, and surface embellishments aligned with the brand’s design language
  • Research and draw inspiration from cultural references, artisanal crafts, and global fashion trends to inform design direction
  • Create detailed print artworks, color palettes, and fabric mood boards for seasonal collections
  • Work closely with the fashion design team to develop textiles that enhance silhouettes and storytelling
  • Liaise with printers, dyers, and artisans to ensure accuracy in design execution and maintain quality standards
  • Experiment with new techniques, textures, and materials to push creative boundaries
  • Maintain an organized library of textile swatches, samples, and digital design files

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in textile or surface design and fresh graduates with strong portfolios
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and CAD for print development
  • Strong sense of color, pattern, and composition
  • Knowledge of textile production processes, print methods, and fabric types
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • A deep appreciation for artisanal crafts, heritage techniques, and storytelling through design
