We are currently looking for a passionate and hard working individual to make a difference at the Company’s Freshwater loch site Tervine, situated on Loch Awe. The role is challenging, but ultimately very rewarding and can lead to a variety of fulfilling career progression opportunities.
Job Responsibility:
Leading on feed, control and inspection of fish
Site housekeeping and maintenance
Inspection and maintenance of equipment and facilities around the farm
Monitoring and maintaining fish health and welfare
Daily environmental checks
Boat handling around the farm
Maintaining high biosecurity levels
General farm tasks to keep the whole operation running
Requirements:
Experience is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided
You will be required to hold, or able to obtain, and retain an ML5 or ENG1 medical certificate
Flexible approach to working to meet the demands of the job
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to understand the aims of the site and to support the rest of the team to achieve these
Respect for the need for safe working practices
Drivers licence is essential
