Job Description:

This is a varied role involving traveling to scenic locations across Bedfordshire to process farm saved seed, adding value to the UK farming industry. The successful candidate will work in a rewarding and important industry.

Job Responsibility:

Drive to a variety of farms to process farm saved seed via mobile machinery systems
Meet and interact with farmers & customers
Prepare, maintain and run machinery
Take on ad-hoc duties as required at Hixon site or on farms
General workshop duties
Spraying
Possible welding

Requirements:

Work experience within the Agriculture/Farming environment
Engineering experience or experience working with plant machinery
Relevant qualifications such as HGV, PA1 & PA11 are an advantage

Nice to have:

Relevant qualifications such as HGV, PA1 & PA11
