Job Description:

This is a varied role involving traveling to scenic locations across Bedfordshire to process farm saved seed, adding value to the UK farming industry. The successful candidate will work in a rewarding and important industry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive to a variety of farms to process farm saved seed via mobile machinery systems
  • Meet and interact with farmers & customers
  • Prepare, maintain and run machinery
  • Take on ad-hoc duties as required at Hixon site or on farms
  • General workshop duties
  • Spraying
  • Possible welding

Requirements:

  • Work experience within the Agriculture/Farming environment
  • Engineering experience or experience working with plant machinery
  • Relevant qualifications such as HGV, PA1 & PA11 are an advantage
