Job Description:

Keep operations running strong as a Farm Maintenance Mechanic, where your technical expertise helps power reliable, efficient production every day. In this role, you will maintain, service, and repair a wide range of production equipment and electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and uptime across the operation. Your hands-on problem solving and attention to detail play a critical role in supporting continuous operations and keeping essential systems operating at their best.

Job Responsibility:

  • Read, interpret and understand manufacturers' equipment manuals, preventative (PM) task sheets and safety policies
  • Perform equipment adjustments and repairs, preventative maintenance and emergency breakdowns
  • Perform specific duties during both production and non-production hours in a timely manner with OSHA Lockout/Tagout and Company safety regulations
  • Monitor performance of equipment and informs maintenance and production supervisors of potential problems
  • Maintain logbooks by applying math skills through the equipment PM stages to calibrate machinery to performance standards
  • Provide "hands on" training and direction to lower-level mechanics and techs in properly servicing, repairing and maintaining the equipment operated by the Company

Requirements:

  • High School or equivalent
  • 2-4 years’ experience
  • Reading, writing and analytical skills are required
  • Must always have all personal tools and be able to use and operate hand tools and industrial shop equipment
