Job Description

Farm Insurance Specialist (Field Based). Locations: Armidale| Glen Innes| Inverell |Guyra| Tenterfield. This isn’t a "sit-behind-a-desk" role. It’s a dynamic, on-the-road sales and service position where your office changes every day. You’ll be out in the community, building genuine relationships and delivering risk solutions that actually make a difference to rural families.

Job Responsibility

  • Hitting the Road: Visiting farms to conduct on-site risk analysis and offer tailored solutions
  • Owning Your Patch: Growing and managing your own portfolio of rural clients
  • Community Presence: Building trust with local farmers through face-to-face expertise
  • Driving Growth: Proactively converting leads into long-term, loyal partnerships

Requirements

  • Currently residing in Armidale, Glenn Innes, Inverell or surrounding areas
  • Demonstrated background, exposure, or a deep interest in the Agriculture sector
  • Worked to targets before
  • Know how to identify new business, manage a pipeline, and close a deal
  • Demonstrated track record of commitment and are looking for your next long-term career move

Nice to have

  • Insurance experience
  • Background in Ag-Banking, Sales and Customer service with a strong connection to the farm community
