As a Family Support Worker, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide practical and emotional support. You’ll play a key role in early intervention, safeguarding, and promoting positive outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Supporting families facing a range of social, emotional, and behavioural challenges
Working in partnership with multi-agency professionals
Delivering tailored interventions and support plans
Promoting safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people
Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive family relationships
Requirements:
Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant field – essential
Experience working with children, young people, or families
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A proactive, compassionate, and resilient approach
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
