Job Responsibility:

  • Collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to achieve the best outcomes for students by delivering a range of family support interventions and activities
  • Provide advice, guidance and signposting to help families access relevant services
  • Acting as Attendance Officer, working to improve attendance and punctuality of students across the school
  • Organise and run two week holiday clubs across the schools
  • Work with children who are at risk of exclusion from school supporting them and their families

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children and families in an educational or community setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage families effectively
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and relevant legislation
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and promoting positive outcomes for all
  • Relevant childcare, education, social care or health qualification to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Ability to take personal responsibility, demonstrate a readiness to reflect and self-evaluate
