Family Solicitor

• Handling a diverse caseload including divorce, finances, children matters, and domestic abuse cases
• Advising clients on both legal aid and privately funded matters
• Representing clients at court and undertaking your own advocacy where appropriate
• Supporting or leading on more specialised or niche areas of family law if applicable
• Assisting with the development of junior colleagues and contributing to team initiatives
• Playing an active role in business development, networking, and promoting the firm’s services

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in family law
• Strong knowledge across core areas such as children matters, domestic abuse, divorce, and financial remedies
• Panel membership or niche expertise (e.g. Child Abduction, International Family Law) is highly desirable
• A client-focused approach with excellent communication and advocacy skills
• A commercially aware and proactive mindset, with a genuine interest in business development
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
• Experience working with both legal aid and private clients is advantageous
