A well-established law firm based in the City of London is seeking a Family Lawyer to join their specialist Family division on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Family Lawyer with a strong background in Child Law to step into a progressive role within a respected team.
Job Responsibility:
Handle a broad range of public and private family law matters, with a particular emphasis on Child Law
Responsible for your own varied caseload and expected to work to Legal Aid Agency standards
Liaise regularly with clients, counsel, social services, and courts, providing expert legal advice while maintaining high professional standards
Involved in case strategy discussions and help ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and internal policies
Requirements:
A qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE in Family Law
Member of the Law Society’s Children Panel (or working towards accreditation)
Experienced in representing parents, guardians, and children in public law proceedings
Confident conducting advocacy in the Family Court
Familiar with Legal Aid Agency billing and CCMS procedures
Committed to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable clients
