Requirements

At least 3 years’ post-qualification experience with strong exposure to child abduction and/or modern family law, including surrogacy and parental orders
Experience with the Hague Convention, wardship, and international jurisdictional issues
Membership of specialist panels such as Resolution or the Law Society Children Panel would be advantageous
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Ability to manage complex, sensitive cases independently

Job Responsibility

Manage your own caseload of intricate family law matters, particularly those involving cross-border child abduction and modern family structures
Represent parents, carers, and guardians, often in urgent or high-conflict situations
Provide strategic legal advice throughout proceedings
Work closely with colleagues at all levels
