Job Description:

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Family Solicitor and Accredited Care Lawyer to join a well-established and highly regarded North West firm. Based in Bootle, this role offers the chance to join a thriving and expanding department that has seen significant growth in recent years, resulting in a consistent and high-quality caseload.

Job Responsibility:

Handle a varied caseload of family matters, with a particular focus on private law children and divorce work
Advocacy, representing clients at hearings
Manage a mix of legal aid and privately funded work

Requirements:

A qualified Family Solicitor (ideally 3+ PQE, although this is flexible for the right candidate)
Accredited Care Lawyer status or working towards accreditation
Strong experience in private law children and divorce matters
Advocacy experience and confidence representing clients in court
Solid understanding of legal aid work and procedures
Ability to manage your own caseload effectively and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills, particularly when working with vulnerable clients
