  • Teen & Family Programming: Partner with the Senior Director, New York Region to implement a strategic calendar of service opportunities that meet partner and participant needs
  • Facilitate Jewish service learning for teens and families, integrating local social issues, Jewish values, volunteering, and reflection
  • Lead quarterly large-scale teen service days and 2–5 recurring family programs per month in partnership with synagogues and community organizations
  • Engage families around key Jewish and national service holidays (MLK Weekend of Service, 9/11 Day of Service, Sukkot, Hanukkah, Tu B’Shevat, Purim, Passover, Shavuot)
  • Recruit, train, and support 2–3 Jewish Service Ambassadors (parents or educators) to mobilize families for ongoing participation
  • Manage logistics and materials for all programs
  • Service Corps: Recruit and oversee operations of 2-3 cohorts of corps members per year with the goal of corps members becoming integrated with their service partners, connected to Jewish community, and reaching their volunteer goals
  • Support New York Repair’s Bridge Building Service Corps cohorts, led by partner organizations, that focus on cross-community dialogue and service. Identify, build, and sustain existing and new relationships with local Jewish organizations, civic and nonprofit partners for corps member placements
  • Coordinate and facilitate learning for corps members about local social issues, Jewish values and the skills needed to build Jewish service learning programs
  • Additional Responsibilities: Coordinate and collaborate with Repair the World’s staff across the country, to share skills and resources and maintain program alignment
