Job Description:

Roblin Health Centre is a 25 bed acute care and 60 bed long term care facility. Services offered include Diagnostic, Emergency, Palliative, and Mental Health. Prairie Mountain Health is seeking a Family Physician to join the Roblin Health Centre.

Job Responsibility:

  • Performing all duties associated with a family practice, including diagnosing and treating diseases, physiological disorders and injuries of patients
  • Act as the primary care provider and provide continuous care toward the management of patients’ health
  • Share in the Emergency Department on call schedule
  • Cooperate and coordinate coverage with other physician colleagues

Requirements:

  • Degree in Medicine
  • Current licensure or eligible for full license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba
  • Must be a member of CMPA or provide proof of equivalent malpractice insurance
  • Given the cultural diversity of our region, the ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population is required
  • Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job
  • Demonstrated ability to respect confidentiality including paper, electronic formats and other mediums
  • Good work and attendance record
  • Complete and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse Registry Check and Child Abuse Registry Check, as appropriate
  • All Health Care workers are required to be immunized as a condition of employment in accordance with the Prairie Mountain Health policy
