Job Description:

Join one of the country’s fastest growing national law firms. National Legal Service is a well-established Legal Aid law firm specialising in Family and Children law. As a Family Paralegal you will be managing your own caseloads under the supervision of your Supervisor, you will be dealing with a range of domestic abuse cases, injunctions and advocating for your clients in court.

Job Responsibility:

Managing own caseloads of injunction cases including: Domestic Abuse
Non-Molestation Orders
Prohibited Steps Order
Occupation Order
Completing legal aid application forms and submitting through the CCMS portal
Advocacy experience – or a desire to do advocacy
Drafting witness statements
Completing court application forms
Compiling court bundles
Drafting client care letters

Requirements:

Family law experience
Drafting witness statements and client care letters – Essential
Ability to manage a demanding caseload
Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Nice to have:

Experience of using CCMS and completing legal aid forms – Desirable
