Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Family office Bookkeeper to join our team in Miami, Florida in Coral Gables. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in working with High Net Worth Individuals and managing their accounting and financial projects. The successful candidate will oversee financial aspects for the family trusts, monthly and annual budgets, and track expensing. THIS IS AN ONSITE ROLE with salary and benefits.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for multiple construction and commercial projects
  • Analyze project costs and budgets to ensure alignment with financial goals
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes related to ongoing projects
  • Collaborate with project managers to track and report on financial progress
  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and industry regulations
  • Monitor and reconcile financial discrepancies across multiple properties
  • Generate detailed financial reports for stakeholders and senior management
  • Coordinate with external auditors during project reviews
  • Travel to various project sites to oversee financial operation

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project accounting, particularly within construction
  • Proficiency in construction accounting software, including Yardi Voyager and Deltek Vision
  • Strong understanding of financial principles related to commercial projects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly desirable

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with CAML and CAD-CAM systems is preferred
  • Utilize software such as Yardi Voyager a PLUS
