Job Description:

This rotation prepares Family Nurse Practitioner students for ambulatory care, combining academic standards and specialized training. Experience includes patient interaction, exposure to EMR, and understanding clinic operations, marketing, and insurance procedures.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participate in a clinical rotation to prepare for ambulatory care settings
  • Complete online training modules
  • Engage with patient interactions and EMR systems
  • Gain exposure to clinic operations, public relations, marketing, insurance procedures, and evidence-based guidelines

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in a Family Nurse Practitioner program with an Affiliation Agreement with MinuteClinic
  • RN license in the state of precepting
  • At least one year of RN experience
  • COVID-19 vaccination required
