Job Description:

Family Nurse Practitioner position at MinuteClinic providing primary and family evidenced-based care. The role offers autonomy, professional growth, and work/life balance while delivering high-quality, compassionate care that empowers patients to live their healthiest lives.

Job Responsibility:

Provide Primary and Family evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning
Provide administrative duties including opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow up, verifying insurance and collecting payment
Handle patient appointments and perform routine examinations
Perform duties including speaking with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, completing diagnostic tests
Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care
Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being
Order and administer immunizations and injections
Provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education

Requirements:

A minimum of one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
Experience in Family medicine or primary care practice preferred
Active Family Nurse practitioner license in good standing
Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent
Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires
Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role

Nice to have:

EPIC experience preferred
Proficiency in both speaking and writing in additional languages not limited to but including Spanish
