Astrya Global, a San Diego-based medical staffing agency, is looking for a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established Federally Qualified Health Center in Los Angeles, CA. This role focuses on providing telemedicine services to a diverse and underserved patient population in a mission-driven outpatient setting.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct telemedicine visits for primary and preventive care
  • Manage a high-volume patient panel (approximately 35–40 patients per day)
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plan
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and manage ongoing care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
  • Deliver culturally competent, patient-centered care

Requirements

  • Active California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program
  • Completion of a CA Board of Registered Nursing-approved NP program (NPs only)
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in urgent care (training rotations do not qualify)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (able to conduct full assessments without an interpreter)
  • CA DEA Certification
  • PA/NP Board Certificate
  • Controlled Substance Certificate (required for PA)
