Job Description:

Buckinghamshire Adult Learning provides inclusive learning opportunities that promote well-being and inspire people. Family Learning works with parents and carers to give them the confidence and knowledge to support their children's learning. We work with parents and children from 12 months to 15 years in Early Years settings, Family Centres, schools, and community venues.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver workshops to parents and their primary age child together in schools
  • Run face to face 2-hour workshops in schools in areas such as cookery, craft, practical maths and English
  • Deliver Early Years courses and workshops focusing on early reading, language development, and healthy active lifestyles
  • Work with parents and children between 12 months and 5 years
  • Deliver curriculum and well-being courses online using Google Meet and Google Classroom

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in Early Years/Primary
  • Adult teaching qualification OR qualified Early Years practitioner OR School teacher
  • Cookery qualifications and experience of working with intergenerational groups
  • Knowledge and skills in any of the course subjects offered
