Impact Recruitment has the pleasure of assisting one of the most established and respected full-service firms in the New Westminster / Surrey area with adding a talented and motivated intermediate associate to their family law practice group. If you want to join a supportive team that promotes from within, provides excellent mentorship, and has plenty of work to available, this opportunity is for you.

Job Responsibility:

  • The incoming lawyer will be hitting the ground running, taking on and handling a sizeable file load while supporting the partners on more complex matters
  • This work will consist of a wide range of family law matters, including but not limited to separations and divorces, spousal and child support, custody matters, and complex property division matters
  • There will also be expectations for the incumbent lawyer to begin business development activities and building up their own clients

Requirements:

  • Called to the BC Bar and be in good standing
  • 3+ years of experience post call to the BC Bar. Focused experience with family law considered a strong asset
  • Be comfortable with a billable target of 1500
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
