Job Description

A Family Law Paralegal is required to join a well-established and respected firm of solicitors based in Bromley, London. This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Law Paralegal to develop their experience in a close-knit and client-focused team, working directly with senior solicitors on a broad caseload of family law matters including divorce, child arrangements, and financial remedy proceedings.

Job Responsibility

  • Preparing legal documents
  • Liaising with clients
  • Attending court when required
  • Assisting with case management and administration
  • Taking ownership of elements of files under supervision
  • Building technical legal skills within a collaborative team

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months' experience working in a family law setting, ideally within a private practice environment
  • A law degree or equivalent legal qualification (e.g. LPC or SQE pathway)
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Confident dealing with clients from all backgrounds in sensitive matters

Nice to have

Familiarity with legal aid procedures
