Job Description:

A Family Law Paralegal is required to join a well-established and respected firm of solicitors based in Bromley, London. This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Law Paralegal to develop their experience in a close-knit and client-focused team, working directly with senior solicitors on a broad caseload of family law matters including divorce, child arrangements, and financial remedy proceedings.

Job Responsibility:

Preparing legal documents
Liaising with clients
Attending court when required
Assisting with case management and administration
Taking ownership of elements of files under supervision
Building technical legal skills within a collaborative team

Requirements:

Minimum 6 months' experience working in a family law setting, ideally within a private practice environment
A law degree or equivalent legal qualification (e.g. LPC or SQE pathway)
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Confident dealing with clients from all backgrounds in sensitive matters

Nice to have:

Familiarity with legal aid procedures

Prior experience supporting a family law practice is strongly preferred, but candidates with a strong desire to learn and a proven ability to adapt quickly will also be considered
