2+ YOE handling Family Law cases in Pierce County
3 years of experience working as a Family Law Paralegal
Experience filing cases in Pierce County
Must be able to draft and prepare declarations

Job Responsibility

Provide comprehensive litigation and administrative support to attorneys
Maintain and manage client files with utmost confidentiality and precision
Manage scheduling aspects, including tracking deadlines, setting appointments, and planning for discovery, hearings, etc.
Prepare standardized dissolution forms and other court documents
Draft legal pleadings, declarations, and other essential documents
Prepare and respond to discovery requests in a timely and accurate manner
Draft detail-oriented correspondence to clients and other parties
File legal documents and arrange for their service
Ensure all hearings and deadlines are accurately noted and calendared
Accurately bill for all executed work, maintaining transparency with clients

Job Responsibility

Prior experience supporting a family law practice is strongly preferred, but candidates with a strong desire to learn and a proven ability to adapt quickly will also be considered
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Familiarity with document management software
experience with NetDocs is a plus
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially in client interaction
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
