Job Description

A respected boutique family law firm focused on high-end, litigation-heavy divorce matters is seeking an experienced Family Law Litigation Paralegal to join its close-knit team. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be deeply involved in cases from start to finish.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage family law cases from inception through resolution
  • Draft court pleadings and dissolution-related filings
  • Calendar management and court scheduling
  • Prepare, review, and manage discovery
  • Prepare financial affidavits and mandatory disclosures
  • Assist with depositions and trial preparation
  • Review deposition transcripts
  • Communicate professionally with clients
  • Track and bill own time (approx. 100 hours/month)

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of paralegal experience, including a background in litigation support
  • Prior exposure to family law matters is strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage billable time and maintain accurate timekeeping records
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and document accuracy
  • Excellent proofreading and written communication abilities
  • Experience with discovery, civil litigation, trial preparation, and case management software
  • Dependable, accountable, and willing to contribute wherever needed in a team-oriented office environment
