Job Description

Established Bay Area law firm seeking an experienced Family Law Litigation Attorney to handle complex domestic relations matters. This role is litigation‑heavy and client‑facing, with responsibility for cases from intake through trial.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage a full caseload of family law matters including divorce, custody, support, and property division
  • Draft pleadings, motions, declarations, and settlement agreements
  • Appear in court for hearings, mediations, and trials
  • Conduct discovery and settlement negotiations
  • Advise clients on strategy, risk, and California family law procedure
  • Maintain compliance with court deadlines and local rules

Requirements

  • Active California Bar license
  • 5–10+ years of family law litigation experience
  • Strong courtroom presence and motion practice skills
  • Experience handling contested matters independently
  • Excellent client communication and case management abilities
