Join the team of this high profile family law firm in Forth Worth for the opportunity to learn and grow professionally in a supportive environment! You will act as first point of contact with retained clients as you proactively and efficiently manage your cases from beginning to end.

Job Responsibility

  • Draft a variety of legal documents
  • Review and categorize Assets & Liabilities worksheets for equitable property distribution
  • Act as first point of contact with retained clients
  • Manage your cases from beginning to end
  • Ensure clients are up to date on the status of their cases and feel informed about their options
  • Review pleadings and other legal documents
  • Meet with mentoring attorneys to regularly share information and define strategy
  • Sit first chair on family law hearings and trials
  • Attend Hearings, Mediation, and Trials
  • Participate in marketing activities to promote the firm and professional development

Requirements

  • Must be licensed in Texas to practice law
  • Minimum of 5 years of family law experience
  • Comfortable managing your own docket
  • Solid understanding of the Texas Family Code and the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with superior attention to detail
  • Ability to learn and utilize new software, technology and techniques as needed to meet the changing demands of the legal marketplace
