We are looking for an experienced Family Law Attorney to join a boutique legal practice in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. This permanent, onsite position is suited for a lawyer who brings sound judgment, strong courtroom ability, and a thoughtful approach to guiding clients through sensitive domestic matters. Job Responsibility
Oversee a portfolio of family law matters involving divorce, custody disputes, support issues, alimony, and property division from intake through resolution
Prepare, examine, and refine legal agreements and case documents, including marital settlement terms, parenting arrangements, and premarital or postmarital contracts
Advocate for clients during contested proceedings such as hearings, motion practice, depositions, mediation sessions, and trial appearances
Perform thorough legal analysis and develop well-supported pleadings, motions, briefs, and related filings for family law cases
Counsel clients with clarity and professionalism, offering practical legal recommendations tailored to their circumstances and goals
Monitor changes in Pennsylvania family law, procedural requirements, and local court rules to support compliant and effective representation
Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff, while coordinating with outside experts when a matter requires financial or other specialized input
Maintain organized case records, manage filing deadlines, and track litigation milestones using legal practice management tools
Requirements
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania and current good standing with the state bar
At least 3 years of hands-on family law experience, including substantial exposure to divorce-related matters
Demonstrated ability to draft motions, briefs, discovery materials, and other legal documents used in family law litigation
Strong knowledge of courtroom procedures, case strategy, and day-to-day management of family law files
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and advocate persuasively
High level of professionalism, emotional awareness, and client-focused judgment in sensitive legal situations
Ability to work onsite in a permanent, team-oriented boutique firm environment
