Job Description

Robert Half Legal is partnering with a respected boutique family law firm in search of a highly skilled Family Law Attorney licensed to practice in California. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers the flexibility of remote work, with the expectation to attend one in-office day each month dedicated to firm-wide strategy sessions.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, support, and related litigation
  • Advise clients on all aspects of family law, ensuring compassionate guidance and practical legal solutions
  • Draft motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and other related documents
  • Appear at hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences as needed (primarily via remote/preferred platforms)

Requirements

  • Active California Bar license (required)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience handling family law cases independently
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
