Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a well‑regarded boutique family law practice in Atlanta that is adding an associate to support a growing caseload. The practice focuses exclusively on family law (divorce, custody, support, and related matters) and is known for a solution‑oriented, professional approach. Cases often involve sophisticated financial issues, with a strong preference for resolving matters amicably when possible. This role offers hands‑on experience, meaningful client contact, and close collaboration with experienced partners in a supportive, low‑ego environment (yes, jeans are fine). The team is primarily in the office due to court and mediation schedules, with hybrid flexibility based on workflow and performance. Requirements

  • Analyzing substantial and complicated asset divisions
  • Assisting in all phases of litigation including arguing and defending motions, taking and defending depositions and participating in mediations, arbitrations and trials
  • Communicating with clients, analyzing client needs, providing sound legal advice, and status updates
  • Preparing clients for hearings and trials
  • Evaluating, synthesizing and researching case law, statutes, regulations and documents impacting the firm’s clients
  • Assisting in all aspects of trial preparation
  • Negotiating agreements between parties
  • Providing status updates to the assigning attorney(s)
