Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and shape the Family Group Conferencing (FGC) Service
  • Champion the rights of children and families within the community
  • Lead the development and implementation of a new FGC offer in Slough
  • Oversee the recruitment and management of Family Group Conference Coordinators
  • Champion the principles of FGC within Children’s Services and across partnerships
  • Advocate for the meaningful involvement of families in decision-making processes
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure the effective delivery of the FGC Service
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, empowerment, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and refine the FGC offer in line with the needs of the community
  • Ensure the FGC offer aligns with best practices and statutory requirements
