Job Description:

Southwark Council is looking for passionate and skilled Early Help Practitioners to join our Family Early Help Service. Make a real difference in the lives of children and families across the borough.

Job Responsibility:

  • Engage families to create positive, sustainable change and improve outcomes for children
  • Conduct whole family assessments, develop SMART family plans, and review progress
  • Deliver evidence-based direct work with children, parents, and families
  • Act as lead professional in multi-agency Team Around the Family meetings
  • Work flexibly across the community

Requirements:

  • Level 4 (or above) professional or academic qualification
  • Knowledge of early intervention, child development, safeguarding, and relevant legislation
  • Experience working directly with children and families in early help or multi-agency settings
  • Strong assessment, planning, relationship-building, and reporting skills
