Job Description:

Are you a skilled Social Worker with a talent for court-focused assessments? Cafcass is looking for at least 5 experienced professionals to join their London teams. With a focus on Private Law and a highly competitive rate, this is an ideal move for practitioners who excel in analytical writing and independent working.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing a consistent caseload of 7 x Section 7 reports per month
  • Providing high-quality assessments to the court regarding child arrangements
  • Conducting safeguarding checks and advising on the best interests of the child.

Requirements:

  • Social Work England Registration
  • Essential: Recent experience writing Section 7 reports
  • Alternative: Candidates from Child Protection (S47) or Child in Need (S17) backgrounds with significant experience writing court reports and attending hearings will be considered
  • Ability to work autonomously and meet strict court deadlines.
