This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match. Care will be for 2 children ages 4 years old and a newborn. The family travels to places like Mexico, Europe, St Barts, and Montana each year. Live-in option is available. Family is happy to provide a private, furnished bedroom and bathroom. Live-out option is available but the candidate must be comfortable spending the night when dad travels for work.
Job Responsibility:
All standard family assistant duties including helping with the morning routine, running errands, light laundry, light housekeeping, organizing toys, baby-related tasks, meal prep for the children, and helping prepare dinner for the family
Primary childcare will be for the newborn with occasional care for both children
The ability to travel and a passport is required for the position
Requirements:
Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Nice to have:
A higher education is preferred
Some child development background would be great, but it is not a requirement
A second language would be a huge perk
Tech savvy
The ideal candidate can stick to a schedule, is reliable, active, has a positive attitude, and can take initiative on the job
