Part-Time Family Assistant needed for a family with two teens. The role involves supporting the children's routines, transportation, household tasks, and pet care, ensuring the household runs smoothly.
Job Responsibility:
Support transportation to and from activities
Coordinate with tutors
Help manage homework, organization, and daily routines
Laundry
Dishes
Errands
Meal prepping
Cooking for the boys
Pet care
Managing homework and organizational projects
School and activity pick-ups and drop-offs
Scheduling
Light housekeeping
Helping keep the household running smoothly day to day
The ability to help with overnights on occasion when mom and dad's travel schedules overlap
Requirements:
Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard childhood vaccinations
2+ years of in-home experience as a nanny manager or family assistant
Must have experience working with teens
Must have a higher level of education outside of high school- a 4-year college degree strongly preferred
A background in teaching or education is also strongly preferred
Nice to have:
A bilingual Spanish-speaking candidate would be strongly preferred, however, not required
The ideal candidate is easy-going yet organized, proactive, and attentive to the family’s needs
They will be flexible by nature and comfortable stepping in to help as situations arise
