Job Description:

Family Assistant needed for overnight care with a 12-year-old child. Position involves household management, childcare support, and providing stability during the mother's frequent work travel. Guaranteed 160 hours per month.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing household schedules and appointments
  • Running errands and grocery shopping
  • Light meal prep
  • Home organization and overseeing vendors or maintenance
  • Assisting with travel arrangements and correspondence
  • Providing general household and childcare support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Providing before/after-school hours and overnights when mother is traveling

Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
  • Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap, and COVID-19

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience with household management duties
  • Warm, supportive, and open-minded, with strong organizational skills and the ability to take initiative
  • Dependability, good judgment, and a calm presence
