We are looking for a dedicated Family and Community Liaison Assistant to join our team on a part-time, contract basis in Los Angeles, California. This role involves providing administrative support and assisting with donation coordination while fostering strong relationships within the community. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working occasional weekends.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage administrative tasks such as data entry and record keeping to ensure accurate documentation
  • Coordinate and oversee donation processes, including tracking contributions and organizing logistics
  • Handle email correspondence promptly and professionally, addressing inquiries and maintaining communication with stakeholders
  • Provide support for community events or initiatives, including occasional weekend participation
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency
  • Ensure reliable transportation to fulfill job responsibilities and attend required meetings or events
  • Maintain an organized workspace and contribute to a positive office environment
  • Assist with any other administrative duties as needed to support the organization's goals

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in an administrative or similar support role
  • Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong written communication skills, particularly in email correspondence
  • Ability to coordinate donation processes and handle logistics effectively
  • Reliable transportation to commute to work and attend occasional weekend events
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Comfortable working in a nonprofit or community-oriented environment
