This is a prestigious opportunity to help build and shape the future of a rapidly expanding and academically vibrant abdominal transplant program at a nationally recognized academic medical center. This is a transformative moment in Tucson’s transplant landscape. The University of Arizona is advancing into robotic organ transplantation, launching a living donor liver transplant program, and initiating auto-islet transplantation, placing our program at the cutting edge of modern liver care.

Job Responsibility:

  • Engage a growing team of hepatologists committed to clinical excellence, academic collaboration, and innovation in liver disease management and transplantation

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology
  • Demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary liver transplant care
  • A strong commitment to clinical program building, academic scholarships, and mentorship
  • Interest or experience in living donor transplantation, advanced liver therapies, and clinical trials is highly desirable
