As a Factory Quality Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining quality standards during the development of cat and dog food product. Work in various areas and functions of the plant to ensure operators are performing the appropriate sanitation activities and quality checks per company policy and procedures. Job Responsibility:
Oversee process to ensure products produced in the factory adhere to the standards of quality and food safety
Lead operational support and improvement activities for the quality stream including but not limited to QA checks, problem solving, project implementation, and standard creation, revision, and implementation
Environmental testing in Dry Pet and Specialty Pet areas. Enter results, initiate and follow-up with corrective actions
Lead and support the hold management process, status control and final disposition. Conduct sampling and testing of hold product
Support the factory’s laboratories with equipment upkeep, calibration, internal control plans, and training
Maintain QA programs including but not limited to Quality Collaboratives, References and Proficiency samples
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
1+ years of quality assurance in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military or related environment
