As part of the Business Planning department, you will join a team that connects people, data, and visions to tackle complex challenges with foresight and precision. As a Factory Planning Engineer, you will help shape the future of the entire ASML Berlin site with foresight and a pragmatic approach. You will combine technical know‑how of equipment, processes, and space requirements with project management skills and take responsibility for facility and space planning. Your interfaces include Operations, Engineering, and Corporate Real Estate. Your mission: to optimally design manufacturing and laboratory areas.
Job Responsibility:
plan expansions and redesigns of work areas or entire production buildings in detail and develop creative, goal‑oriented, and efficient solutions
further develop methodologies, standardize processes, and implement best practices
collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams and are well connected within the global competence network
prepare and present decision documents and KPIs for different stakeholders
Requirements:
successfully completed technical degree, ideally with a focus on production, factory planning, or related fields
experience in a manufacturing environment
methodological expertise and apply it in a targeted manner, for example from Lean Management
experience leading projects and working with different stakeholders
speak German and English fluently
proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and ideally have experience with specialized planning tools and CAD applications
Nice to have:
ideally with a focus on production, factory planning, or related fields
