Job Description

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operators to join our Client's fish processing team. The role involves working on a fast-paced production line to ensure fish products are prepared, processed and packed to the highest quality and hygiene standards. Initially the roles are temporary, however, a permanent role may be available after a period on the temporary contract. This should be considered when applying. Hours are Monday to Friday 8 am - 4.00 pm, 37.5 hour paid working week. Candidate must be comfortable working in a cold environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Operate machinery and equipment safety and efficiently
  • Prepare, process and pack fish products according to specifications
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and workplace safety
  • Carry out quality checks and report any issues
  • Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food production or factory work is an advantage but not essential
  • Previous knife skills would be advantageous
  • Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards
  • Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic
