Job Responsibility

Ensure alignment and understanding of design, merchant, production, quality, and cost objectives/goals and balance sourcing allocation accordingly

Manage product development samples with a focus on design intent, quality standards, technical standards, craftsmanship execution, and on time deliverables

Follow Floor Set Tracking Report and Agent Shipping reports to monitor late shipments and deliveries

Negotiate seasonal programs using a technical and fact-based quantifiable method to define cost increases and/or decreases across all known factors
Conduct seasonal analysis of current and prior years comp cost breakdowns, and ability to present and discuss findings
Define cost competitive alternatives during development, through commercialization, and any lifecycles stages where needed
Maintain detailed product cost sheets that will support the ongoing visibility to seasonal buy, FOB, ELC, Retail costs, IMU status, Brand Moment date, delivery date, and all pertinent factors on the cost sheet
