Job Description

JRL Modular are looking for Factory Operatives to assemble, bathrooms and utility cupboards to supply to its onsite projects. No previous experience is required as full training is provided along with all the necessary tools and equipment. This is a Permanent PAYE position based at JRL Modular factory in Newark, NG23. Due to continued growth we are seeking new recruits to join our team. To us enthusiasm, reliability and commitment far outweigh previous experience, so come along and join us on our exciting journey.

Job Responsibility

  • Assembly of modular apartments, bathrooms & utility cupboards
  • basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical & other maintenance duties
  • Ensure all Company procedures are followed
  • To undertake any training as required, and to also assist in the training of other team members in the tasks you are proficient at
  • Ensure factory areas and your work space is kept tidy and clear and that a high level of housekeeping is maintained
  • To work safely and take responsibility for the Health & Safety of yourself and your colleagues
  • Any other duties required by factory supervisors

Requirements

  • Previous assembly or basic construction experience is preferred but not essential
  • Manual handling and use of power tools preferred but not essential
  • A flexible Team player with a responsive and can do attitude
  • Ability to follow a process and work to targets – H&S, Quality and Productivity
  • Punctual with an excellent timekeeping and attendance record
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn new skills
