Job Description

Reporting to the Operations Leadership team, the Factory Manager will take ownership of a high-performing production line within a demanding industrial environment. The role is focused on leading a large, multicultural workforce, driving improvements across quality, cost, and delivery, and embedding a strong performance culture through hands-on leadership and continuous improvement practices.

Job Responsibility

  • Promote safe and professional conduct across all production activities
  • Lead, manage, and develop an assembly team of approximately 100 personnel
  • Drive operational performance across quality, cost, and delivery metrics
  • Provide strong on-site leadership, ensuring high levels of team engagement and accountability
  • Implement Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Structure and optimise production processes within a complex industrial environment
  • Monitor and improve production efficiency, identifying and addressing performance gaps
  • Maintain and enforce high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals and resolve operational challenges
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience managing large, diverse teams in a fast-paced production setting
  • Strong background in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to bring structure and clarity to complex operational environments
  • Hands-on leadership style with a strong presence on the shop floor
  • Industrial experience within metal construction or heavy industry preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Fluent in English (required)
  • Ability to work fully onsite in Courcelles, Belgium
