Job Description

As a Senior Manager within the business, you are expected to develop, review, and deliver departmental objectives through a process of leading, coaching, and challenging as well as actively supporting and delivering change oriented, activities and projects. Additionally, you will constantly work to demonstrate tangible and sustained KPI improvement.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure compliance to Health, Safety, Environmental and site-specific policies
  • Work with Health & Safety function to ensure risk assessments are completed
  • Ensure highest quality and food safety standards
  • Ensure compliance with quality policies and procedures
  • Ensure manufacture of product to highest quality standards
  • Take responsibility for all KPI’s such as lines' efficiency, yield, rework, giveaway, waste, line staffing and production volume
  • Ensure achievement of all Manufacturing Services KPI's
  • Prepare and manage annual budget
  • Manage budgets and forecasts to deliver on agreed production volumes, expenditure, and standard costs
  • Work with Operations Manager to identify, submit and implement capital investment projects.

Requirements

  • Group and site induction
  • All relevant site/area policies, procedures, and practises (Including customer specific codes of practice)
  • Level 3 in H&S. Either IOSH Managing Safely or Cranswick equivalent
  • Previous experience of FMCG manufacturing operations (preferably food related)
  • Proven track record of managing large teams
  • Proven track record in cost control, health & safety, management of quality systems and lean manufacturing principles
  • Ability to interact with high profile customers.
