Stellarview Technologies designs and manufactures a secure edge-AI camera product. Final manufacturing runs in a dedicated, access-controlled production cell hosted within our manufacturing partner's facility in Noida. We are looking for a Factory Manager to own this cell end to end: to run SMT and assembly production to plan, hold the line on quality, act as custodian of the product's cryptographic identity, and own our manufacturing audit and compliance records. This is a hands-on, on-site leadership role and the single point of accountability for everything that leaves the cell. You will direct what is built and to what standard, while our manufacturing partner manages its own production workforce.
Job Responsibility
Own daily production planning and output for the cell against the agreed monthly build plan
Oversee the SMT and assembly process end to end: pick-and-place, reflow, stencil printing, AOI, through-hole, and hand assembly, ensuring each step meets specification
Coordinate with the manufacturing partner's production supervisor so that assembled and tested output meets our specification, quality standard, and schedule
Raise and manage build orders and maintain the build cascade in the inventory and ERP system
Own every quality gate, from incoming inspection through in-process checks, functional test, optical and focus calibration, and final QC
Hold final release and dispatch authority: no unit ships without your sign-off
Exercise stop-line authority wherever quality, security, or process integrity is at risk
Maintain quality records and drive corrective and preventive action on defects and yield
Serve as custodian of the product's cryptographic key material, including controlled storage and the end-of-day key archival to the company's secure cloud vault, with daily reporting of device counts and archive confirmation to the CTO
Be trained and authorised as the backup operator for the secure provisioning and flashing process
Enforce access control and role-based access to the cell and to the provisioning, key-upload, and design workstations
Own material inwarding at the facility: receive components, capture them into the inventory system, and hold custody of high-value modules under controlled storage
Maintain lot and serial traceability across components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods, and keep stock reconciled
Own the manufacturing audit file and keep the cell audit-ready at all times: access logs, traceability, ESD compliance, counterfeit-mitigation controls, and record retention
Act as the company's on-site point of contact for certification and regulatory audits
Lead Stellarview's on-site provisioning and flashing team, and coordinate day to day with the partner's supervisor and with the Operations and CTO functions in Pune
Requirements
5 to 8 years in SMT and electronics manufacturing, with hands-on experience running SMT production and assembling electronic products
Strong, practical command of the SMT line: pick-and-place, reflow, stencil and solder-paste printing, AOI, and changeover, plus through-hole and hand assembly
Experience with PCBA build quality and electronics functional testing, including reading defects and driving yield improvement
Demonstrated ownership of quality systems, traceability, and audit or certification readiness
High personal integrity and documentation discipline: this role holds cryptographic keys and signs product releases
Able to work independently on-site within a partner's facility and to coordinate across organisations
Based in, or willing to be based full-time in, Noida and the wider Delhi-NCR region
Nice to have
Experience setting up, qualifying, or transferring an SMT line, including feeder setup, reflow-profile tuning, and managing changeovers between products
Hands-on experience with fine-pitch and small-package placement, for example 0201, and the inspection and quality control that goes with it
Exposure to regulated or security-certified electronics manufacturing, for example STQC, BIS, or similar schemes
Familiarity with secure device provisioning, Linux-based flashing tools, or cryptographic key handling
Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems and with an inventory, ERP, or traceability system
