This Factory Applications position will play a senior technical leadership role within the Memory Test Division. In this position, you will lead high‑impact customer engagements, drive technical strategy, and serve as a primary interface between our customers, factory engineering teams, and product development groups. You will guide and support customers on the introduction of next‑generation memory devices into production and influence the evolution of the Nextest test platform.
Job Responsibility:
Lead complex customer engagements, technical escalations, and device bring‑up efforts for advanced memory technologies
Develop high‑quality test program methodologies, characterization flows, and correlation strategies for next‑generation Flash and DRAM devices
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Marketing, and Product Management to influence tester hardware and software roadmaps based on customer needs
Build technical demonstrations, documentation, and enablement content that support pre‑ and post‑sales initiatives
Support cross‑functional alignment on feature requirements, system validation, and deployment strategies
Partner with global customers as a trusted technical advisor during evaluation, ramp, and mass‑production deployment
Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and elevate engineering best practices across the organization
Ensure timely resolution of critical issues through root‑cause analysis, solution development, and scalable corrective actions
Requirements:
BSEE or related field OR equivalent experience
20+ years in memory semiconductor ATE engineering
Extensive experience with Flash and high‑speed DRAM test program development, debug, and correlation
Deep understanding of wafer sort and final test methodologies
Expert proficiency in C/C++ programming
Strong hardware/software debug capability
Hands‑on experience with high‑volume manufacturing test flows
Strong verbal and written communication
Analytical thinking and independent problem‑solving
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams
Demonstrated mentoring and knowledge‑sharing with peers and junior engineers
Ability to build strong technical relationships internally and externally
Comfortable managing shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
Up to 20% domestic and international travel may be required, sometimes with short notice
