Job Description

Robert Half is hiring a Factory Administrative Assistant for a manufacturing client to provide day-to-day administrative and operational support within a plant environment. This is a longer-term assignment with the potential to extend and offers exposure to a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing setting.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate meetings, manage calendars, and assist with travel arrangements for department leaders
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries—researching, resolving, and escalating as needed
  • Gather, maintain, and summarize confidential or sensitive information for reports and special projects
  • Update and maintain databases, files, and systems to ensure accuracy and accessibility
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and documents on behalf of supervisors
  • Receive visitors and route phone calls appropriately, supporting internal departments as needed
  • Help organize workflows, maintain records, and follow up on open action items
  • Support workplace initiatives, events, meals, and employee recognition activities
  • Provide indirect coordination with onsite service providers (facilities, food services, etc.)
