Robert Half is hiring a Factory Administrative Assistant for a manufacturing client to provide day-to-day administrative and operational support within a plant environment. This is a longer-term assignment with the potential to extend and offers exposure to a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing setting.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate meetings, manage calendars, and assist with travel arrangements for department leaders
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries—researching, resolving, and escalating as needed
Gather, maintain, and summarize confidential or sensitive information for reports and special projects
Update and maintain databases, files, and systems to ensure accuracy and accessibility
Prepare correspondence, reports, and documents on behalf of supervisors
Receive visitors and route phone calls appropriately, supporting internal departments as needed
Help organize workflows, maintain records, and follow up on open action items
Support workplace initiatives, events, meals, and employee recognition activities
Provide indirect coordination with onsite service providers (facilities, food services, etc.)
Requirements:
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong planning, organizing, and scheduling abilities
High attention to detail and discretion with confidential information
Self-directed, motivated, and accountable work style
Postsecondary education ideal
3–5 years of professional administrative or office experience will make you stand out
