Proven experience in facility maintenance, or a related role
Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and energy-efficient practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in emergency situations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication skills for interacting with guests, staff, and external partners
Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed

Job Responsibility

Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure they are in optimal working condition
Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as power outages, plumbing leaks, and equipment failures, and take necessary actions to mitigate the impact on guests and staff
Monitor and maintain facility equipment, including to ensure its reliability and safety
Implement energy-saving measures and eco-friendly practices to reduce utility costs and minimize the facilities environmental footprint

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inspections, and work orders to track maintenance history and plan for future maintenance needs
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations, conducting regular safety inspections and addressing any identified hazards promptly
Provide training and guidance to staff on safety procedures and equipment operation to promote a safe working environment
Coordinate with external contractors, suppliers, and vendors for specialized maintenance and repair services when necessary
Assist in budget planning by providing input on maintenance and repair needs and controlling expenses within budgetary constraints
