The position combines hands-on facility operations with structured planning and execution of maintenance and improvement activities. You will drive your own projects and tasks across laboratories and our office. The role is part of a small, dedicated Facility Management team with broad collaboration across the organization.
Job Responsibility:
Plan and execute facility maintenance and improvement activities from scope to handover
Support day-to-day operation of laboratory and office facilities, including preventive and corrective tasks
Coordinate external suppliers and service partners, including follow-up on quality, timelines, and documentation
Planning and prioritization of maintenance activities to ensure smooth operations
Contribute to a safe and well-organized workplace through structured ways of working and continuous improvements
Part of an on call duty every 3 weeks
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience from a similar facility management role
Documented experience with project planning and execution (maintenance, refurbishments, or facility upgrades)
Experience coordinating vendors/service providers and managing service performance
Working knowledge of maintenance planning (e.g., preventive maintenance, work orders)
Ability to work independently in a small team and manage multiple tasks in parallel
Relevant technical background/education within facilities, engineering, building services, or similar
Structured with a service-minded approach
Can balance operational stability with project delivery
Communicates clearly with stakeholders and suppliers
Takes ownership of tasks end-to-end
Pragmatic mindset and attention to detail
Thinks innovative and sees opportunities in change and continuous optimization
